Whipping up the wind with a Hurricane for Cocktail Friday! Learn the ways of the Hurricane with us!
Last weekend was the first Hurricane. . . or tropical depression that made landfall. It may have missed us Floridians, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get messed up by a “Hurricane”! So for this Cocktail Friday we are going to learn how to make the classic cocktail that has been mentioned in songs and a staple cocktail down in South Florida.
Hurricane
Ingredients:
1.25 oz Myer’s Dark Rum
4 oz Pineapple Juice
2 oz Orange Juice
Slash of Grenadine
Instructions:
Combine Myer’s, Pineapple and Orange juice over ice cocktail shakers
Shake
Pour over ice in cocktail or hurricane glass of choosing
add a splash of Grenadine
Garnish:
With cherry, pineapple and orange wheel or whatever you have in stock
