Planter's Punch is the best cocktail for this Cocktail Friday! Grab your bar tools and lets make it!

We made it to another Friday! That's right everyone if you are receiving this email it's Friday! It’s a little chilly in Florida, so we are going to warm up with Planter’s Punch!! This is a fun cocktail with a little fun history behind it, so lets get to making and shaking this cocktail!

Ingredients:
1 3/4 oz rum
2 tsp. Sugar
2 oz Orange juice
Rose’s Grenadine
Myers dark rum
Instructions:
Pour into you shaker all the ingredients EXCEPT Myers dark rum.
Fill with ice and shake
Pour into desired cocktail glass. . . I like to use Hurricane Glasses - buy me
Top with a splash of Myers dark rum
You have now made Planters Punch, congrats Barfly ;P
Garnish with whatever you have around the house, mint or basil, orange with a cherry.

In 1879, Fred L. Myers founded the Myers Rum Distillery in Jamaica and celebrated by making what he called,"Planters Punch"! This concoction became the house special at Kelly's Bar in Sugar Wharf. Jamaica, and its popularity spread soon after.
