May the Force be with you Cocktails for Cocktail Friday! Choose what side of the Force you are!

Star Wars, baby! It's May and Star Wars has always been a BIG part of my life, so today we are going to honor it with two cocktails, so choose your side wisely. The fight against good vs evil has influenced every kid on the planet and for generations! But, just like everything, growing up has taught us that it's not so black and white... but then again growing up has it benefits. We can now turn our childhood into fun cocktails! So buckle up, put on your favorite Star Wars movie and choose your side of cocktail for Cocktail Friday!

We are calling these cocktails Sabers and they are great for any Star Wars party or just to have on any other day. They taste great and they even light up in black light!!
Jedi's Light Saber
Ingredients:
1.5 oz of vodka, I like Monkey in Paradise
.5 oz of white grape juice
.25 oz of Blue Curacao
Squeeze of lime
Tonic
Blueberries
Directions:
Put ingredients into shaker tin with ice without the Tonic
Shake
Fill Martini or Whiskey Glass with Jedi's Saber
Fill remainder with tonic
Garnish:
With Blueberries and lime wedge
Sith's Light Saber
Ingredients:
1.5 oz vodka, I like Monkey in Paradise
1 oz triple sec
.75 cranberry juice
.25 chambord
Tonic
Strawberries
Directions:
Combine ingredients into shaker tins, except tonic.
Shake
Fill Martini or Whiskey Glass with Sith's Saber
Fill remainder with Tonic
Garnish:
Strawberries and lime wedge
To start your Light Sabers turn on a black light and watch them glow as you guzzle them down.
